Need a website with page 2 showcase my publications 4 sale. WrdPrss ok with this

  I need to set up a website with 5 – 10 pages including blog, a page where I can showcase my publications and offer for sale, and the usual” about” etc. Will WordPress support this? I know I can ad pages, but mainly concerned about the “offer for sale” page and connecting to social media. Thank you in advance for the most simple and direct answer possible.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  No. That’s just a bundle of upgrades for a business website, not ecommerce.

  If what you are offering for sale is created by you, eg books written by you, clothing designed by you, etc, you can feature it here and sell it, but in terms of ecommerce we can only use the Paypal donate button. It’s not terribly professional. Upgrading doesn’t change that, either. If you want true ecommerce, you need paid hosting and an install of software from WordPress.ORG.

  OK Thank you. Just books written by me, so I guess I am OK. I just want a simple site with the title and page links all located on top with Nature background. Do you happen to know of anybody who I may hire to do this for me? Thanks again.

  You should be able to do it yourself, but there are literally thousands of people, including me, who can do this for you. The only tricky part is that you need to follow the Paypal instructions in the Support Documents http://support.wordpress.com/ instead of those on the Paypal site. WordPress.com has some tricky code restrictions that you have to pay close attention to.
