Need access to old blog
-
I have an old blog that shows up first when someone google’s my photography business. That account is linked to an email I no longer have access to and I need to login to that blog to delete or add a post directing people to my new blog site.
Blog url: http://wolfephotography.wordpress.com/ -
We’ll to either receive an email from the email address that owns the account or the API key to prove ownership.
If you have either, please send them to support@wordpress.com

My old blog was linked to my old work email address. I don’t have access to the email anymore since I don’t work there and I’m not sure what an API code is but I need to post to it to direct it to my new site so that when people google my business, this is not the first thing they see… I want them to see my new one. Is there no one I can call and give other information to?

The API key would’ve been sent after you activated your old WordPress.com account.
Since we only require an email address when signing up, that’s the only way we can verify ownership.
Can you ask your old work place to create a temporary email forwarder to give you enough time to 1) reset your account password, 2) log into that other WordPress.com account, and 3) update it to an email address you can access?
