Need Admin access to former blog!

  I changed my username today to eastsidetrailway, not realizing that i needed the former username to access http://janetrossma.wordpress.com/ as the Administrator, which I need to do — not sure what the username was, perhaps “warner blake” — but the email was (email visible only to moderators and staff) — still working address, but when i try to use it, it gets kicked back to the new username/email? To change it back i will lose the new username, right?
  What to do Please!

  It looks like you have several threads open for support including the one I replied to here:

  Please do not continue opening new threads. Let’s just keep the conversation streamlined into one area.

  To clarify, there are two user accounts on the blog janetrossma.wordpress.com including the one you’re currently writing from. As I explained in the other thread, you will need to be an admin on the blog to delete it.

  The username you just changed away from (to eastsidetrailway) is not the admin on the blog. The admin is associated with a completely different email than the one you provided. Do you happen to remember the email address of the other user account?

  i started a second thread because i suddenly realized that i was shut out of janetrossma.wordpress.com which is still a live site that may need my help beyond that of an Author.

  (My first thread that timethief helped me with is a dead site that does not need to be recovered.)

  I appreciate your help recovering Janet’s site, especially since using the account recovery form is a dead end. For example, the email address that you are requesting: (email visible only to moderators and staff) is the address used to create Janet’s blog and is not recognized as the registered email?
  (using my current address lead me to a password recovery link.

  perhaps i need to change back to the doctor.breadhead address to recover the sites created with it? what do you think?

  thanks again for your help and patience with my confusion … seems lots of changes with WP.com over the past four years.

  Hi!

  The owner email address is not the doctor.breadhead email that you are mentioning. I believe you’re receiving the error message on the password recovery link because that email address is not associated with any WordPress.com account at the moment. Switching back to the doctor.breadhead address unfortunately won’t help us make any progress.

  Do you happen to remember another email address you may have used when creating the account?
