Need advice on creating columns and coloured borders
-
Could someone lindly advise me on how to create the number of columns I want for my posts and coloured borders between the columns? I went to the CSS help page, but could only see a collection of codes which I can’t see how to apply. Thanks.

Hi there, Chateau has what is called a “concise” format for post which will show the post title and a short excerpt of the post on blog, date archives, category and tag pages. If you go into your admin dashboard at Appearance > Theme Options, you can choose the concise archive style. Here is a direct link: https://blessedaboveallwomen.wordpress.com/wp-admin/themes.php?page=theme_options

Oh, one more thing with the concise archive style, I would suggest on that Theme Options page you also select the One Column, No Sidebar layout style.

Thanks, Engineer for the happiness you have brought. I followed your instructions and am pleased with the result. It’s actually what I first had in mind prior to setting up my domain page. I prefer a single column in the centre with no borders.
