    Will wordpress.com give me my own domain name I have a domain name and I want to connect to my blog
    will it only show my domain name in searches

    Jetpack: Yes
    Correct account: Yes

    If you already own a domain, you can connect it to our services, or even transfer the registration here. You would just need a paid plan for that. The personal plan would work nicely for that, or you can upgrade for other features.
