Need assistance: People registering to follow my blog still are not showing up

2nd time asking this question – first posted my question on August 3.
People who are not members of wordpress are registering to follow my blog. They are not showing up in my stats, I’m not receiving notification nor are they.
Some of these people reside in the US and others are from other countries.
I have nothing in my spam, they have nothing in their spam. Is there a burn feeder that I am suppose to attach so this doesn’t happen?
Why post when they won’t be notified? Anyone else having this issue?
Can someone from the support team assist me with this issue? Thanks.

Is there something I should be doing to ensure people that want to follow my blog, who are not members of wordpress do so.

Update: members and non-members of wordpress are able to make comments on my blog.
Members and non-members are able to fill in their email address and hit follow to follow my blog.
Members and non-members see a message that informs them an email confirmation will be sent, instructs them to click onto it as final step.
Problem: I’m not receiving the email notification that non-members are signing up. The non-members are not receiving the email confirmation that they are suppose to click onto.
Does WordPress have a button for burn feeder that will then enable non-members to ensure emails from my blog won’t go into spam?
Can someone assist me with this issue. A lot of hours are going into just trying to get this aspect working.

@flycatcher10: I see that you have a couple of pending email followers on your blog. WordPress.com only sends notifications when another WordPress.com user follows your blog, so you would not be receiving any notifications for either pending or confirmed email subscribers – this is normal.
You can view your active subscribers under https://wordpress.com/#!/my-stats/
Look for Totals, Shares & Followers and click on “Blog” followers, and you’ll see the details about your WordPress.com followers as well as email followers.
For the two people who are currently listed as pending (r********@rwtrinc.com and f***********@gmail.com, could you please ask them to try again?

Thanks for explaining when I would be receiving email notifications, that helps a lot.
I’ll ask the others to go into their email inbox again to check for the email confirmation notification – they both tried to register twice, so we’ll see what happens.

Sure, just to let you know, I was able to subscribe via email without any problems, as well as a couple of other forum volunteers, so it is not an issue with your blog or with our system.

One is coming in from Greece and the other in the same city that I’m located in.
The one who is located from the same city as myself, has registered twice using same email each time, and never received an email confirmation notice. I’ll followup with the individual and ask them to register again.
The individual in Greece just left for vacation, so will have to wait.
I’ll ask others to subscribe and will let you know what happens.

Hi Jenia: thank you for following up.
I’ve had several people notify me that they are beginning to receive email notifications from my blog.
The issue for the individual that lives near me was resolved, in so far as the employer computers can’t receive notifications from me. They have an outside service that eliminates spam before it reaches to their system.
Maybe you know this question. Is there a feed burner that we can attach to our blog so when someone signs up for email notification it shields the blog emails from being eliminated as spam?

Hi Mary, here are two options that come to mind:
1) Subscribe via RSS, e.g. using Google Reader. You can add an RSS Links Widget to your blog as an additional subscription option.
2) Subscribe via email using a different email address, e.g. @gmail.com. Then perhaps use that email address to forward to the other email address (assuming the filtering is based on the from email address and not the content of the message).I hope this helps, good luck with this!
