Do you have a wordpress.COM blog?
If so, this is not a “support” question and would be more appropriately posted in the Ideas forum:
https://en.forums.wordpress.com/forum/ideasI believe the blog linked to your name is self-hosted. Our software and options on .com are quite different from blogs using .org software.

Where do you get your stats, makingphotos.
Besides, did you know that the size of the monitor doesn’t really matter when the screen resolution is set to something different than the default one?
Just because where you live Toyotas are pretty common doesn’t mean every body drives one.
If you have a wp.com blog, and you don’t find a theme that suit your needs, you can select the Sandbox theme and style it to your liking.

I didnt know wide screens were all the rage now, I recently bought a netbook and its 8.9 inches. My blogs look the same to me on big and small screens. Anyways, since you’re already here devblog, I wanted to say thanks for the calendar tip, I didn’t even notice it. Thanks :)

Laptops outsold desktop computers for the first time this year, which accounts to the change in most prevalent monitor resolutions. Back in Jan 08, 1024×768 accounted for 48% while “higher resolutions accounted for 38%. In the W3C report. They don’t break down “higher” so there is no way to tell the percentages.

for some reason I thought 1024×768 resolution would have been used more often
Most of the times, statistics are site dependent. If you check w3schools stats, they will be different to those of wordpress’ or other sites.
According to OneStat, as of September 30, 2008, these are the most popular screen resolutions (globally):
Normal screens # Resolution % 1. 1024x768 61.80% 2. 1280x1024 26.04% 3. 800x600 6.15% 4. 1152x864 4.96% 5. 1680x1200 0.82% 6. 640x480 0.16%You can see a more detailed list on their website.
BTW, you’re welcome, aw.

I have the Acer Aspire one, I thought the Eee looked too childish, like for kids. The Dell Mini and Mac mini also looks nice.

I just got another Lifebook – this time a P1630. Love the mini-notebooks (but my old eyes can’t handle anything smaller than about 8 inches). I’ve got an older 5″ screen Sony that I still use daily, though.
FYI – my Lifebook is 8.9″ and it is 1280 x 768
