NEED CSS TO ADD BACKGROUND IMAGE TO WEBSITE

    Hi,

    Struggling to work out how to add a background image to my website, I can only see the option to change the theme colour but not add an image to the background.

    Can someone please supply the the CSS for this.

    Let me know how I can supply the image, it is located on my media library in my backend of WordPress.

    Hi @zekeayla,

    You are currently using the free plan offered by WordPress.com which does not include the custom CSS feature.

    If you are interested in implementing some advanced custom designs into your site, both the Premium and Business plans offer that as a feature.

    Hi there, the theme you are currently using, Hive, https://wordpress.com/theme/hive is one of our Premium themes. However, it does look like Hive does not have any background customization options without upgrading to at least the Premium plan.

    Just mentioning too that since Hive as a standalone theme cost US$125 and the Premium upgrade plan is US$100 (approx), and includes access to all the Premium themes, as well as the ability to customize via Custom Design and CSS, you might want to consider requesting a refund for the Hive theme and go for the annual Premium upgrade plan instead.

    Hi @zekeayla, I see you have upgraded to Premium, and I see you have some CSS to add a background image saved as a draft. When I applied that CSS, it appears to perhaps not be what you were intending. Let us know and we can see what we can do to get things looking like you want them.
