need dns settings to disconnect email (hosted elsewhere)

I have domain hosting elsewhere, connected to a wordpress site now. Works fine. Only my email belonging to same domainname (hosting with same external host) isn’t working anymore. Learned from supportpage i need to adjust dns settings (mx records, possibly cname and a-records). External host isn’t giving them to me, refers to wordpress for acquiring the right dns-settings so they can be corrected by external host. Want to keep emailhosting as is, through the current domainhost. So not connected to wordpress, nor forwarded, nor zoho mail.
Who can help me? supportdesk that responded has lost my first (urgent) message, replied to second message with ‘check our support page’ which i did already (as i also explained in my supportticket), and replies to third message with ‘you should get another external emailhost, cause it looks like your domain host doesn’t provide emailhosting’. Which it does, since i HAVE emailhosting there already and want to keep it that way. So getting nowhere now in 3 messages a full week later, but all the while my company email isn’t available, so panic is happening…

Hi, can you tell us the domain? It’s likely not something we can fix on our side if the site is not hosted here, but we may able to point you in the right direction.
