NEED EPP CODE

I am trying to redirect my site the the domain I purchased on bluehost. kraveexpression.wordpress.com to kraveexpression.com
I talked to bluehost they indicated I need to get an EPP code from wordpress. I only have a free account on wordpress.com and most of the instructions I’ve seen don’t seem to allow me to send myself an EPP code. I need some help.The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I don’t understand why you’re referring to wordpress.org?

Well, it looks like it is working now. A minute ago, your site didn’t come up in my browser, now it does. Are you good?
The site looks nice, by the way.
As for the .org vs. .com, when I go to http://www.whoishostingthis.com it tells me you have a web hosting service that is not WordPress.com. Take a look and see if that rings any bells.
It looks like you’ll need the .org forums for future reference.

@kaygrav If you want to map a domain you purchased elsewhere to your WordPress.com site I’m afraid you can’t do it with the free plan. You need to upgrade at least to the Personal plan and then follow these instructions: https://en.support.wordpress.com/map-existing-domain/

I spoked with bluehost and they indicated that I shouldn’t have to purchase anything from wordpress. I said if I have to buy the personal plan on wordpress I want to cancel my bluehost domain I just bought and just buy all from wordpress since domain is included with personal plan. They assured me that wordpress.com should be able to provide me with an EPP code and bluehost will be able to set up the transfer. I was on the phone with both bluehost and wordpress all day yesterday. WordPress said blue host needs to do the transfer and blue host said all they need is the EPP code. I’m annoyed no body seems to answer my questions. Is this not an option or do I still need to purchase something from wordpress?

If you don’t have a custom domain at WordPress.com there’s no way to get an EPP code to transfer. A free WordPress.com site doesn’t function like that. You could use the WordPress.org software on your new Bluehost site and transfer the content from your WordPress.com site to there using the export/import function (or you could have purchased your domain here at WordPress.com in the first place which would have been more straight-forward I guess but it’s too late for that now).

Okay thanks for that. I guess I”ll have to pay for the mapping. I”m still having issues with bluehost. My site won’t stay live no matter what I do I”m so frustrated. I may just get my money back and do everything through wordpess.
