  I have one domain (https://digitalmarketingadsservice.com/) valid for 5 years bought from GoDaddy and presently hosting it on google cloud. so I want to transfer my hosting to WordPress as it provides free hosting right?

  No. But with a paid plan here you either get a custom domain included free for the first year or are given the option to map or transfer an existing domain to a WordPress.com site.

  Hi @marketingads1 Hosting on WordPress.com is free for all sites but as @themagicrobot points out it is not possible to assign a custom domain to a “free” WordPress.com site, which can only use the free WordPress.com URL we assign to it at the time of creation.

  Out of curiosity you are trying to move the existing site (including the current theme and plugins) over to WordPress.com from the current host? Or are you instead planning on starting over with a new site here, and will just be importing some of the content from that site?
