Need Full Refund- Still intend on using WordPress

    I canceled my order because the domain name I wanted to transfer wouldn’t be available for 60 days. WordPress only refunded me $42 of the $60 I paid. I still intend to use WordPress hosting but for a different domain. Is there any way I can get a full refund?

    Hi there!

    When you purchased the Starter plan, it looked like you also indicated you wanted to transfer in the domain gemtowntees.com. Unfortunately, we don’t automatically refund the cost of the domain in these instances because the domain may be mid-transfer.

    I just checked on our end and the transfer was never initialized. Since it’s still within our refund window, I refunded that $18 back to you. Please note it may take 7-10 days for the credit to show up in your bank account.

    However, you can use that domain here even if it’s under a 60-day transfer lock. You’ll be able to use a Domain Connection to point it to WordPress.com right away, then transfer the registration here after those 60 days are up.
