Need guidance for SEO

    Hi, I wanted to know why I cannot add a new plugin for free? Why is it necessary to upgrade for a business plan?

    Because all free sites here at WordPress.com are subdomains on a common platform. One piece of bad code wouldn’t just upset your site but potentially thousands of others. Business plan sites are set up differently so if one went down it wouldn’t affect any of the others. A Business plan costs WordPress.com more to administer but it does give the user much more flexibility of what they can do with their site,

    You can move to WordPress.org if you want to add more plugins. I have recently started a new blog on pet cleaner reviews. That blog is hosted on wordpress.org. I can use as many plugins as I want. For SEO, I am using Yoast SEO plugin. You can also do the same. But, for wordpress.org you need to buy a custom domain name as well as hosting.
