Need help

I asked this in the CSS forum but nobody is helping, so maybe I wasn’t in the right place. Somebody please help! I just paid for the premium services on my blog, which has NOT gone public yet. I have tried everything I can think of to make my posts appear in chronological order. I am not any kind of CSS editor or coder, and even though I have read everything I can find on the subject, it’s still not clear to me. I found this code — [display-posts order="ASC"] — on the page about shortcodes, but I don’t understand where I’m supposed to insert it. I’ve already tried in all the places that seem logical, and nothing is working. Please help. I need a Happiness Engineer to engineer some happiness for me, because what little I have left is fading fast. Thanks for your understanding!
