Hi there,
The website you’ve posted is using the open-source WordPress.org and this forum is for the hosted WordPress.com platform.
https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/
I would suggest posting your question in their forum to see if anybody there can help.

I didn’t know there was a difference , I got this thru godaddy which i paid for this wordpress site and was recommended to use the elementor builder and the hello template.
I am getting very discouraged by all this cause every page i got to no one wants to help me learn how to use it , i keep getting told to go to different page or site .

That’s understandable, it can be confusing for new people :)
GoDaddy uses the open-source version, so the correct forum is WordPress.org.

Elementor also offers much in the way of support, it’s got a very large community.

Here is a getting started guide that will hopefully be of some help.

GoDaddy has completed the install process, so you can probably start at step 4 and go from there.
There are also plenty of YouTube videos and other resources on how to get started. Honestly, there is so much it can be overwhelming, so I would suggest starting with the official documentation and going from there once you start getting a grasp on things.
I hope that helps.
Cheers,

Ok , would it be better / more beneficial to go with wordpress thru someone other than godaddy ? godaddy has NO support for wordpress at all and it is obvious i need some support for getting questions answered .

That depends on what your goals are. While the two are VERY similar, the hosted version has more limitations which for many people are a non-issue. For others, they’re too restrictive.
First, have a read through the differences here.

Since you’ve signed up for a WordPress.com account, I would suggest giving this platform a shot and seeing if it fits with your needs.

https://wordpress.com/support/create-a-blog/WordPress.com (this platform) offers live chat support for the Premium and higher plans.

I suggest exploring WordPress.com as @ericfri suggested — besides our forums, all paid plans receive email support, while the Premium plan and higher receive live chat support. For many, this is worth the cost of the plan alone.
You can start a free site on WordPress.com and reach out for help in the forums. If you have any questions about our plans, just let me know.
In the meantime, here’s a helpful getting started guide: https://wordpress.com/support/start/

I am going to stick with wordpress thru godaddy for now as I am trying to spend as little money as possible right now . I am an awards/trophy business and well covid has killed my business for the last 1.5years with schools not doing anything and no sports etc. meant no business.
My site is not going to have a blog and why that came up on there i have no clue but i did finally figure out what went wrong and corrected it somehow. there is still a lot of questions i have and things to figure out and to be honest the open source forums suck as no one actually answers a question.
