Yes I did. I followed the steps and everything worked. But the portfolio Menu is showing up on my sidebar at the bottom instead of on the Pages menu. I want the portfolio to show on the Pages menu but as a separate menu
And also is there a way to edit pages on WordPress.com using a phone or tablet? Majority of the time when I try to edit pages on my tablet or phone it doesn’t work or freezes allowing me not to edit at all

You mentioned having separate menu. So, I noted steps to create new menu and have that menu in Widget. You can remove the widget from My Sites > Themes > Customize > Widgets > Sidebar.You can’t have 2 menus in same place separately. Instead you can add Portfolio to the same menu as pages by following the tutorial on link given by @supernovia
And also is there a way to edit pages on WordPress.com using a phone or tablet?
You can download WordPress app from App store/Play store. This app will help you customize the site just the way you do it on your browser.

Screenshots can be very helpful. You can use http://snag.gy/ or http://cloudup.com to share screenshots and link to them here. If you use the WordPress.com guide for screenshots http://en.support.wordpress.com/make-a-screenshot/ you can and upload it to your Media Library, and return to this thread to provide the file name so Staff can examine it.

@oolbeanz247 OK, I think I understand. ALL of your menu items will get collapsed under a single mobile menu on smaller screens. There isn’t a way to create a second menu link there.
However, if you’ll use the tutorials we sent earlier, you could organize this one menu to something like Home | About | Portfolio | Blogs | Contact and then put your favorite topic links in as a drop down under Blogs.
Also I noticed you have several single pages that look like you might have intended to be categories. Like Fashion Trends: it’s a single static page. Since trends change frequently, you might have more success blogging about fashion trends, and linking to that category.

I thought it was possible to do because I’ve seen it done before with other themes. Maybe it’s because of the theme I have
I’m still confused. So if I wanna create a portfolio it would have to be on a separate page instead of on the Menu separately.

@koolbeanz247 we actually *just* came out with a new series of videos (3 minutes each) that explain categories, menus, pages, and all sorts of other topics that have come up in this thread. Would you be willing to watch them? Video 2 and 3 would be especially helpful with making sure we’re using the same terminology, which will help us work more effectively together in this thread.

You’ll need to have them on a google calendar first.
