    I already have a wordpress site on dreamhost domain but I needed to upgrade my wordpress to a paid version how can I do that from the website coz I am unable to log into wordpress with my wordpress website username & id.

    Hi there!

    To clear up any further confusion, there is WordPress.com and WordPress.org, and they are two different entities.

    We, WordPress.com, are a cloud-based platform where we manage WordPress sites, whereas WordPress.org is stand-alone software that you can download and self-host with any other hosting.

    If you already have a paid hosting with another company, you will probably not need to upgrade your WordPress.com account.
