Add topic to favorites
I just tried to post my first blog and when i clicked publish, it said in big red letters “you are not allowed to post” or something to that extent…I tried contacting support and have heard nothing…

Sign out and then sign back in and look at your Dashboard main page. Is there a warning there or something?

Are you the Admin of the blog? Or just a contributor or editor?

There are no warnings anywhere..and practically nothing on my dashboard. Where would i go to change to an admin?

Under personal settings by “primary blog” it does say NA…

If I click on your name it says you have deleted the blog. Not the post, the entire blog. Is that the blog you’re asking about?

Ok i understand all the roles thing. What I’m looking for is where to see exactly what role is assigned to my account, and if I can make myself the admin of it. The system is accepting all my login info, just the same way it did when I set up the account, but for some reason I think it’s seeing me as something other then admin on it.

raincoaster…I think i did at one point delete the one I was working on..so do I simply need to “register a blog?”

I thought about doing that but I’d like to use the user name I have now (hixbo) and when I go to register it that way it says it’s unavailable. So I guess the question is can I get around that name thing?

When a blog is deleted here at WordPress.com there are 3 warnings and an email verification link given to accomplish that. The warnings clearly state that deleting a blog is forever. http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/delete-blog/ There is no recycling of deleted blog addresses ie. blog URLs and once dleted they cannot be reused by anyone. http://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/

You cannot. Iframes are stripped out here for security reasons. If the code maker supplies an HTML only version, you can use that.
