    it is not on WordPress.

That is why it is weird, because I built it on wordpress. It was a few years back, and I cannot find it now. Any suggestions?

hey , if it was few years back , you had to renew the domain to keep its ownership. if the domain expires someone else can buy it . It looks like there is a website linked to that domain already which means. here is the details i found :

    Expires On

    2026-02-22

    Registered On

    2010-02-22

    Updated On

    2024-02-23

If you are not the one who registered on Godaddy , in 2010-02-22 , then someone else has it . the only way to take it is to contact the owner and see if they can sell it to you, otherwise you have to find another domain that suits your needs.

Yes, it was me, I still own the domain, but designed the site on WordPress. So, I am puzzled why it disappeared. Also, when I realized it disappeared, I forwarded the domain it to my other domain, because I did not have time to deal with it, but now I would love to get back to it. Any thoughts?

if you have access to your godaddy account ,you have to point the dns record of your domain to wordpress, that way, you can link the domain to the rented space (wordpress). think of it like linking an address to a house. then add the domain in wordpress . if you do not have access to your godaddy account . you can not do anything.

Thank you for trying to help me. I understand all that but the site is not present on my WordPress account. It is as if i never created it.

To avoid any confusion, it’s important to distinguish between three different versions of “WordPress”:

    1. The free, open-source WordPress software that powers your website.
    2. WordPress.org, the open-source project where you can obtain the software for free to use on your chosen hosting provider.
    3. WordPress.com, a managed hosting provider of the WordPress software, which is the platform you are currently contacting.

Since your site was not hosted here at WordPress.com, that’s why you don’t see it here.

    I hope that clarifies things!
