Need Help

Hi.
I have just set up a wordpress page, trying to make a webpage. Somehow, the user face is completely different to the one I’m used to in work. Can any one tell me why? Is the one with the blue menu bar a lates version or something? – is there a way of getting back to the old (grey) version?
All online tutorials seem to be about the old one, which is handy.
I cannot navigate this blue one at all. Can’t even find the dashboard. I have been on the “getting started” page. But the instructions don’t seem to correspond to my page.The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Staff changed the dashboard recently, and there’s no way to get back to the old version. The instructions you’re reading refer to WordPress.ORG blogs, which http://taitwt.wordpress.com/ is not. I need help as well!
I set up with a simple account for blog purposes only. I already have a website which I have paid for. In this link: http://en.support.wordpress.com/themes/custom-header-image/ it lists themes that can have a customized header (I want to insert my own image), however, I have not found that the listed options on the website are accurate. When I go to the ‘demo’ I either do not see a header option, OR the header options are only options provided by WordPress. There is not option to upload the header image or background.
