Need help before I cancel
-
Okay I will try this. Please bear with me and be patient, I am a newbie. I created a domain at cheapname.com. I then joined Wealthy Affiliates and directed my DNS to NS1 and NS2 for Wealthy Affiliates. Everything worked fine. As I was working on the Building of my site I went through several website themes and finally came up with one I like. So, I have this website hosted by Wealthy Affiliates, which also provides Atmail email for my domain (email visible only to moderators and staff)
I discovered after several days that when I directed Polyvore to post on my blog it was posting to the WP blog gypsysgewellblog.WordPress.com and I not to the blog page I have on my WA site. For some reason I thought they were connected and the blog postings on the WP blog would automatically be added to the Blog page on my WA site. I have been trying for days to get my blog postings to appear on the website at Wealthy Affiliates. So, I thought okay I must need to connect them somehow so I upgraded and switched the DNS to WordPress. When I did that I did not have access to my email anymore. Which had already been used a lot and I needed the emails there. So, I switched back. I have asked the question on WA but don’t get an answer i understand. These are my questions: 1. Is there a way to have my WP blog posts automatically be added to my website? 2. When I use a third party like polyvore to post is there a way to get it to post on the WA site? I know I can do that on WP (WHICH BY THE WAY I JUST SUBMITTED A CANCEL AND REFUND REQUEST FOR) 3. If I don’t need WA to keep the ATmail feature then an you tell me how to continue to get that email? I would definitely keep the WP and turn the blog a website if the BLOG shows up. I am really confused and need someone to help me figure this out.The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
I’m happy to help answer your questions. To start, I wanted to explain the difference between your domain name and your blog. You may be interested in taking a look at our recent blog posts about how domains work:
Your domain name can point to either your Wealthy Affiliates site or your blog here at WordPress.com, but it can’t point to both at the same time. If you would like, you can point your domain to your WA site and then use a subdomain (an address like blog.gypsysgewells.com) for your WordPress.com. I can help you set that up if you’d like.
1. Is there a way to have my WP blog posts automatically be added to my website?
There isn’t a way to automatically add the posts from your WordPress.com blog to your WA website. However, you can create a direct link from your website to your blog. That way, visitors to your site can go back and forth easily between the site and the blog.
2. When I use a third party like polyvore to post is there a way to get it to post on the WA site? I know I can do that on WP (WHICH BY THE WAY I JUST SUBMITTED A CANCEL AND REFUND REQUEST FOR)
I am not familiar with how WA works, so you will need to contact WA support for more information about how it connects with third-party services.
3. If I don’t need WA to keep the ATmail feature then an you tell me how to continue to get that email?
On WordPress.com we do not provide email hosting, but you can connect email hosting from another provider to your custom domain. Here are instructions for using email with your custom domain: Add Email
Once you have the email (MX) records from your email hosting provider, I can help you enter the records here at WordPress.com so you can continue using your custom email addresses.
If you have any other questions about this, please let me know!

This is the dns that I got from namecheap. When I add it it comes back as “unable to change dns, do not recognize.” Can you help me with this.
mail.gypsysgewells.com IN CNAME 0 oxwebmail.registrar-servers.com.
gypsysgewells.com IN MX 10 oxmail1.registrar-servers.com.
gypsysgewells.com IN TXT 0 v=spf1 include:ox.registrar-servers.com ~all
gypsysgewells.com IN MX 10 oxmail2.registrar-servers.com. -
Thank you for providing those records. You had them entered almost perfectly in your domain’s DNS settings. I made a couple small adjustments, so you should be all set there.
It may take up to 48 hours for your email to begin working properly with these new settings, but if you have any questions or concerns about it please let me know!
