Need help! Cant access WP, redirect loop

    Im using MAMP

    I was initially trying to set up a multisite so I added the necessary coding in the phpconfig file. Then I changed the port apache and sql ports to defualt settings: 80 and 3306 respectively. However, i noticed that I had a loop when trying to access wordpress and thought that the problem might have been a domain and port mismatch since my original domain was http://localhost:8888/Davids Website. I changed the port back to 8888 and I was able to access WP. Afterwards, I went to the WP settings to change both site and address urls to http://localhost:80/Davids Website, and then changed the ports to default settings once again. However, now im back where i started. Im looping to 8888 and I cant access WP at all now.

    We provide support for WordPress.COM hosted blogs only. We do not provide support for WordPress.ORG software installs. You are posting to the wrong support forum.

    WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums.
