Need help changing domain from WordPress to Weebly

Hi,
I originally built my website on WordPress, but have decided to switch to Weebly. I need my domain name moved from WordPress to Weebly.
I need to point my domain to their servers. Can you set this up for me or walk me through the process of making these changes? I need to create A-Records for “www” and for my root domain. That’s one record for “www” pointing to 199.34.228.100. And one record for the root domain pointing to 199.34.228.100.

Hi there,
As mentioned on our Support Document regarding Custom DNS:
Note: that you cannot add an A record for a root level domain such as mydomain.com through the WordPress.com Custom DNS editor. You must use another DNS hosting provider if you want to do that.
Since you want to add a record for the root domain, you won’t be able to through our interface. You’ll need to transfer your domain name elsewhere, as explained in Transfer a domain to another registrar.

Yes please, thank you! :) This change to where the domain points to shouldn’t effect my email addresses through Google Apps, right?

I noticed that a colleague of mine did some of the changes for you already, but not the email changes. I have just done those for you now. If you have any issues with the site or the email, let me know and I’ll look into it for you

When a domain is registered or altered, there is a process called propagation, where information about the domain name is passed to internet service providers all over the world. This process can take up to 72 hours (though usually much less). During that time, you may also receive a warning message in your browser about “redirect errors”. Unfortunately, we have no control over this as it all depends on how often your internet service provider updates their records. Please rest assured that everything is proceeding normally with your domain.
If you still have trouble viewing the site after 72 hours has passed, please try clearing your browser’s cache and cookies:

Thanks, I’ve followed those instructions and received the authorisation code by email, but I don’t know what to do next… Weebly is asking for information that is not contained in that email, it’s saying I need “I need to create A-Records for “www” and for my root domain. That’s one record for “www” pointing to 199.34.228.59. And one record for the root domain pointing to 199.34.228.59. “
Where do I get this information?

Is http://flipantiques.com/ the domain you’re referring to?

Thanks for your note – yes it is. I am happy to have WordPress host the site, but would like to use Weebly as my web builder. If that’s possible, let’s do that. Otherwise, I’d like to change the host and web building to Weebly. Please let me know which is easier. Thanks again.
