  need help changing my account email…keep getting error that my email is already in use

  Hey there, I’d bet you’ve got another account with that address. Can you log out, then try logging in with that email to see what you get?

  Also, some email providers will allow you to use aliases, which essentially lets you have more than one account under just one inbox. With gmail for example, instead of this:

  (email visible only to moderators and staff)

  Use this:

  (email visible only to moderators and staff)

  You can make that +1, +whatever, +doesnotmatter … whatever letters or numbers make the most sense to you. Gmail will ignore the plus sign and anything after it. But we won’t, so it’s in effect a second email account that delivers to the same address.

  And I know other mail providers have similar options; that’s just a popular one that comes to mind.
