Need help completing a domain transfer

  Hello,

  I recently bought the domain “lacohue.com” from OVH.com which is also my web host. Apparently, this domain has been previously registered on wordpress.com/wildwestdomains and should now be release. In order to complete the domain transfer, I need the AUTHCODE of the domain. I already contacted Wild West Domains but their support told me to contact WordPress.com. Can you help me getting this information?

  Hi @nelsunch, no problem. You need to log in as the owner of the domain — log out, and log back in using the same email address that gets renewal notifications. Then you can use these steps to transfer:

  Hi @supernovia and thank you for your response. The issue is that I don’t have the login information of the previous owner, so I can’t access the required codes to complete the domain transfer.

  @nelsunch the person who has the login for the domain is the current owner. We can help them change ownership, but they have to initiate it. Are you in touch with them?
