Need help connecting external domain to WP website

    I cannot get a response from a “Happiness” Engineer. I’ve been waiting for over 3hrs now. NOT happy “PAID” customer.

    The text below is what I am waiting a reply on.

    Something so “simple” and “quick” to has turned out to be a lengthy and frustrating process.

    The steps that are provided within the WP support section has not really helped. It may have if it was a new set up, but working through these steps again isn’t actually working for me. I do need direct support and held from someone who can actually “view” what I’m dealing with. Back in the “Old Days” a phone call would have resolved this, I’m sure.

    My message to support which awaits response follows below.

    “Hello there, I have lost connection between my domain provider and my wordpress website. I have been having issues for a while now and would like some direct help. Hopefully we can screen share this session whereby you can set the system up for me. I was in touch with crazy domains last week and they were supposed to have sorted it out. Of course I had to wait for the 72 hour period before changes would occur. Sadly nothing has been resolved. I’d really appreciate your help and support. Thank you.”

    Hi there!

    I understand that your end goal is to connect your domain nurturing me-naturally.com.au to WordPress.com, which is registered with Crazy Domains at the moment.

    There are two ways you can complete the connection, and I believe you tried the option to add IP addresses but that failed. 
     
    These are the options to connect the domain: 
     
    Option 1 ) Connect a Domain from Crazy Domains using Name Servers
     
    Option 2 ) Connect a Domain (Alternative Method using DNS)
     
    I encourage you to try the domain connection again and choose the Name Servers option this time. You’d change the Name Servers to the following:
     
    ns1.wordpress.com
    ns2.wordpress.com
    ns3.wordpress.com
     
    Once done, give it another 72 hours maximum and let us know how it goes.
