Need Help – 'Continue Reading' using the Lovecraft Theme
-
Hi,
I just started using the Lovecraft theme on my site. In the demo, only a portion of the posts is shown and there is a ‘continue reading’ button. However, when I activated it, my entire posts are displayed (something that I don’t want). How do I change the settings to use show the ‘continue reading’ button after each post? Thanks!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Oh, and I forgot to mention that I have already went to the reading settings and set ‘For each article in the feed, show’ summary.

Hi,
Here is a simple solution of this issue. Just add a “Read More” tag after the paragraph you want to use as introductory portion of the post. Please see the detailed instructions here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/more-tag/view-all/
Hope it helps,
Cheers! -
Oh, and I forgot to mention that I have already went to the reading settings and set ‘For each article in the feed, show’ summary.
That setting only affects RSS feeds and functionality driven by the feeds, like email notifications.
The “more” tag, as arafatbs suggested above, is the ticket, and what’s used on the Lovecraft demo. Just let us know if you have any trouble with it.
