Need help controlling image width on blog.
-
Hello,
I am having trouble with image width with my posts. I am cross-posting from BlipTV with video uploads and I’m using screencaps as preview thumbnails. The problem is that the images are being posted in 720 width, which is much too wide and obnoxious for people to navigate through.
I can’t seem to find a place to edit image size and I need some help with this.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Open the posts in the editor. Click on the image to highlight it. Click on the image edit button (mountain icon) at upper left. Adjust the size by percentage. 50%? Update the post.
This happens because the images are not hosted here at wordpress.com, they are at bliptv. That means the wordpress is simply telling the browser where to get the image, and the browser is fetching it from bliptv. Since wordpress does not have the image here on their servers, they cannot do the normal resizing. You have to do it manually after inserting the image as I explained.
From now on, insert the image, then highlight and click the image edit icon and resize the image, then finish up the post and publish it.

I was going to try that, but because I uploaded the thumbnail at BlipTV, all the WordPress post has is the embed link, no actual image.
I was hoping I could change a setting to lower the width of all images on my blog.
