Need help creating avatar

Hi, I have wordpress account with my company and I’m able to login to that account, but when I tried to create avatar it was telling me I don’t have an account. So I created a new account but now it’s telling me to transfer my domain and I don’t want to do that. How do I create avatar for my user under original account? Is there tech support?

It sounds like you inadvertently created an extra account. You’re welcome to add an avatar to this account, too, without setting up a new site.

There is, but direct support is only available on accounts with a paid plan. The community forums are for folks that do not have a paid plan on our servers.

So I guess I was wrong to think that someone referring to “my domain” would have a domain and therefore a paid plan? And, if so, then (except the Blogger Plan I notice now) access to Live Chat support.

Hi @musicdoc1,
If you enter an already registered domain during a site creation you’ll get a prompt to either map it or transfer it. You don’t have to have a plan at that point.
