Need help customising Edin theme
-
I’m trying to use the WordPress template Edin (a free theme) but I can’t get it to appear the way it appears in it’s promotional example.
I am trying to use the Grid template but their instructions are hard to follow. I just want it to appear with a main header image and below, 3 thumbnail images to link to other pages. I have created the pages but can’t work out how to make them appear on the front page like the promo example.
Any help most welcome!

Hi there,
As you have kept your site Private, I am not able to view your site. Hope you have added featured image to your front page. If not, please add featured image to page.
Then go to Customizer > Homepage Settings>Select static page. Select the page to which you just assigned the Front Page template as “Front page,” and then choose another page as “Posts page” if you would like to display your blog posts. To display the three featured pages below the header image, create three new pages with featured image and then go to Customizer>Theme Options. Here as you scroll down at the bottom of left panel you will find options to select pages as that you need to display below the main header page.
Give a try and in case of any further issue, please let us know.
Thanks.

Thanks, sorry I forgot it was private. Fixed now.
I think I’ve worked it out now. It is just very confusing at first.
You have to make a home page, and then 2 other pages and publish them, then assign then to display below home page.
All the other advice was saying you need to create a grid page, which you don’t actually have to do!This is my site so far:

I meant 3 other pages.
You assign the pages under Theme Options, which I found confusing but that seems to work.
