Need help deleting blog

I would like to delete the blog “javafromthetrenches.wordpress.com”. I can log in as me (username = snies, password = macman), am the blog administrator, and can invoke the Delete Site command. However I don’t receive an confirmation email. When I list the users I see there is another admin account with username javafromthetrenches. It’s possible I created the blog using that other account. However I no longer have access to that account’s email.
Please advise as to how I can proceed to delete the blog. I can be reached at (email visible only to moderators and staff) if you have any questions.

Your last resort for obtaining access to a blog when you no longer have access to the email account it was registered with is to complete the form for account recovery at this link https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery.
Be sure to include as much information as possible and submit it to the Account Recovery Staff so they can contact you by email ie. not on these public support forums which are available to everyone with internet access.
