Need help deleting site

    I need help deleting my site. It says it’s scheduled for deletion but it’s been saying this for a few days now. The helptext says that support can speed this along.

    WP.com: Yes
    Jetpack: Yes
    Correct account: Yes

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    I didn’t explain the issue well – thought this would just go to WP support.

    I recently moved to Bluehost and am unable to connect Jetpack. My theory is that my site on WP is somehow still associated with my custom domain name (using same on one Bluehost). So I was thinking it was worth trying to delete the site and if that didn’t work to close out my WP account and then recreate the account.

    Attempt 1: From within my WP site I go to Settings -> General -> Delete your site permanently and get the following message: “We are still in the process of removing your previous plan. Please check back in a few minutes and you’ll be able to delete your site.” It’s been saying this for a few days now so not sure what else to do. If you have ideas let me know.

    Attempt 2: WordPress account profile -> Account settings -> Close your account permanently and I get the following error: “We are still in the process of removing one or more of your sites. This process normally takes 15-20 minutes. Once removal is completed, you should be able to close your account from this page.”

    So I’m kind of stuck and unable to use Jetpack on my new Bluehost site.

    On a separate note, I’d love to learn more about the reason for canceling your WordPress.com Creator plan and moving to another host. The Creator plan includes many advanced hosting features that aren’t available as default with other hosting service providers (like real-time automatic backups, advanced spam protection, SSH, and more).

    Was there something in particular you needed that you didn’t find on WordPress.com hosting?
