Need help deleting site with upgrades

  I am trying to delete my website, but I’m not allowed until I manage upgrades. I purchased a premium theme and I cannot delete it, so far as I can tell it is the only thing preventing me from deleting my site. How do I fix this?

  OK it looks like I have to have staff delete/remove the theme from my account. Please can staff do this for me?

  Do you want Staff to transfer the theme to another site you have registered?

  Premium themes have to be removed by Staff or transferred to another WordPress.COM hosted site of yours before the site they are on currently can be deleted. Deleting a site with upgrades https://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/#deleting%C2%A0a-site-with-upgrades

  I’ve removed the Premium theme — you should be able to delete your site now.

  Ok I deleted the site yesterday morning. When I go to site address it doesn’t say it’s been deleted – there’s a warning to log in and go to the domain upgrades part of admin. Is this normal, or do I need to do something else to make the site disappear?

  Your site is deleted and the domain has been cancelled. It can take a little while for the records to update, which is why you are seeing a message about domain mapping upgrades.

  Visiting vivacombusta.wordpress.com (rather than vivacombusta.com) shows that the site is no longer available and has been deleted.
