Need help – domain and website arrangement

  I bought my domain name from Rackspace. However, they do not design, build, or host websites. They do however hosts and maintain work emails. A little weird, but it is what it is. I have used WordPress to build my previous website almost 10 years ago. I found it to be quite user friendly. I need assistance as to next steps to create/build my new website using WordPress directly (no middle man company – previously I had used GoDaddy & Bluehost). Please advise.

  We provide all the tools you need to create a site on WordPress.com but we don’t offer design and build services like traditional web developers. There is some step by step information about the process here if you are interested:

  Homepage

  The domain you have purchased through Rackspace can be mapped or transferred to WordPress.com.

  Hosting is included in all plans on WordPress.com (free and paid) so this isn’t something you will need to purchase separately — it would only be needed if you wanted to install WordPress.org software on another host like GoDaddy or Bluehost.
