Need help editing DNS

    I edited my DNS and my MX records to match my new email at Zoho.com, but when I send a test email I get this message:

    “Delivery has failed to these recipients or distribution lists: (email visible only to moderators and staff)
    The following organization rejected your message: mta1014.biz.mail.bf1.yahoo.com.”

    I know mta1014.biz.mail.bf1.yahoo.com was from my old email provider. I’m not affluent enough in the DNS genre to understand what the problem it, so I would appreciate your help.

    ALSO I believe I’m doing something wrong with the new CNAME. I created a domain at GoDaddy.com and wanted to create a CNAME in the wordpress edit DNS window. I would also like to use WordPress’s help, but unfortunately their instructions don’t seem to cover the “new look” of the Edit DNS window, so it just doesn’t translate for me.

    I really, really appreciate everyone’s help on this :)

    Hi there!

    Our documentation should be updated now, so you should be able to follow the directions here about creating a subdomain:

    It looks like your mail settings are set up correctly. DNS changes usually take several hours to fully take effect (and theoretically can take up to 72 hours). Can you test your email again?
