Need help editing my new website

  There are two ‘follow’ boxes in the footer. When I edit the page, those boxes don’t appear so I can’t delete one. How do I get to that part to edit it?

  Those are widgets, you can modify them following the steps at https://wordpress.com/support/widgets/

  Hi there. Thanks for the help. That solved my problem but I have another question. Is there a way to put a contact me widget without the map and address feature. I just want to be able to allow people to contact me via my email address. Thanks again, Margaret

  Yes, you can use a Text widget for that.
