Need help embedding a video

  Trying to embed a video – would like a visual screen shot of the video to be displayed in ‘preview mode’ as it shows up when I add the code into html. Unfortunatley when I go to ‘preview’ mode – it shows up a text link. How do I change this?

  Hello,

  Thank you for this.. I took the “code” off of CTV’s “The Social”.
  When I “edit’ and embbed the code, initially under “visual” the video is displayed. Then when I click “update” and refresh the page – the video shows up as a link to a code. Can you please let me know what I am doing wrong?

  That iframe code will not work.

  Note to post your own videos requires a videopress upgrade unless they are on youtube or another source site that is supported and the videopress support doc location is https://en.support.wordpress.com/videopress/ As a workaround, keep in mind that you can also upload your media to another service like youtube videos and insert it into your posts from there.
