Need Help entering DNS record

  I am in the middle of re-directing my website to point to my blog address.

  I have updated the domain addresses but am stuck on entering my custom DNS record.

  My web hoster gave me this: MX.netfirms.com

  I don’t know how to format that to be accepted in the programming window.

  I have entered the following:

  mx 10 mx.netifrms.com

  I think it is working correctly, but can someone please verify that was ok?

  Hi. Each MX record must end with a period, and it looks like you misspelled “netfirms”, so it should be:
  MX 10 MX.NETFIRMS.COM.

  Thanks for your help airodyssey! I double-checked my record and I did have the period at the end of it (and I spelled Nefirms correctly-good eye). I will close this request now thanks to your confirmation.
