Need help finding a specific follow blog with email plug in

I have searched everywhere for a very specific plug in. I found it here: http://www.danmucci.com. On the right side of the page there is a plug in that says “follow blog via email”. This one also has the number of followers. I already have one that looks almost identical to this one. BUT… it does not have the numbers of how many followers. I really want this function.
I emailed the owner of this blog, but all he could tell me was that it was called “follow blog by email”. Unfortunately he doesn’t know what the actual plug in is and couldn’t find it. I have searched through hundreds of plugins trying to find a simple one that allows you to just put in your email address to follow it and one that also shows the number of followers. I’m hitting a wall. I really want the one he has but will settle for another one similiar if anyone knows of one.
Can anyone help?

That is the standard wordpress.COM follow by email widget. It is not a plugin.
It is available for self-hosted wordpress sites in the “Jetpack” plugin. You can search at http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins for “Jetpack” and you will find it. It has some other useful things in it as well.
