Need help formatting new post notifications
-
When we post a new post, the email notification that is sent to followers is often received as spam or “low” importance. Also, the text of the blog post included in the email looks malformatted. Is there a way we can control the status/priority of the email that’s sent? (I realize this may mostly be an end-user setting, but I thought I’d ask.) And can we control whether a teaser and/or the entire post is included in the email notification, and how it looks?
Thanks!

Hi there!
Regarding the email notifications, the individual email client is responsible with marking things as spam or as a lower importance. The user would need to either add “(email visible only to moderators and staff)” to their address book or monitor their spam folder and indicate that the email is not spam. There’s nothing we can do on our end to change the individual email client behavior.
You can have the email set up so that your readers don’t get a full post by going to her Dashboard > Reading Settings and changing the “For each article in a feed, show:” option to “Summary”
