need help getting plug ins to work right
-
I am trying to update my all in one seo plug-in and it asks me to back up my data base. Please tell me what the right steps are to back up that data. I also want to upgrade to wordpress 2.8 and I need to back up data before I do that. I am new to all this, so thanks for your help.
I have another question-I added a plug in yesterday to redirect my webpage urls. Some are reading www. and some don’t have the www. and I was told that it was messing me up with the search engines. This is the plug in I added: http://wordpress.org/extend/ plugins/redirection/ Anyway the plug in didn’t work-there are still issues with the www’s. When I click to the homepage for the plug in to check it out it shows the website but it is not active. So no help there. It shows up as green and activated on my plug ins page on my dashboard, so it seem s to be installed OK. Please advise me on what I should do to solve this problem. Can you suggest a different plug in that will do that job?
Thanks, Mike
