Need help getting rid of 'Like' button & theme footer

I’m having difficulty getting rid of a Like button (with wordpress person icon) on our site.
I have disabled the buttons on every page and on every image, and still it persists. Have a look at our home page, in the ‘come and join us’ section. http://www.newlightafrica.comInitially, ‘show likes’ was enabled for the image (of the baobab tree), but I have unchecked the box, refreshed, cleared cache etc, and it won’t go away.
Is this a theme bug …?
It is the Maisha Theme.And on that note…
2 – How do I get hide this information at the bottom of our site?

Hi there. As Maisha is a premium theme, will you please post in the premium themes forum concerning the Like button? It could be that you have a special page template that has a different location to deactivate that, seeing as you’ve already tried the usual locations. As for the second question:

‘Blog at WordPress.com. | The Maisha Theme.’You are not allowed to remove that information. Doing so violates the Terms of Service (see #11) and will get your site suspended. No upgrade changes this, and even VIP sites are required to show that attribution.

The link you sent for the Maisha theme forum does not seem to have anywhere for me to log a post / query. I can see other posts, but can’t find how to create my own.
