need help getting started

  first: excuse my total lack of knowledge

  I can’t even tell if I’m my premium account went through. I’m not allowed to post in the premium account support thread.

  I did pay $69 for a premium theme and I am able to do some simple things within it through the dashboard that I’m hosting through yahoo small business.

  but I don’t think it’s letting me access everything it should for a premium user. when it wouldn’t let me post in the premium thread i realized this.

  how do i tell if I’ve even set up my premium account correctly?

  Sorry but that site is not hosted by WordPress.COM. You are posting to the wrong support forums. We do not provide support for WordPress.ORG software and cannot help you.

  WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. Read the differences here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there.

  I don’t see any purchases or refunds on this account, so it doesn’t look like you bought any upgrades here at WordPress.com, at least under the odinwadleigh username.

  These forums are for folks hosted here on WordPress.com, but it sounds like you have a self-hosted site running on Yahoo’s hosting instead. If you bought upgrades through Yahoo Small Business Hosting then I’d suggest you try contacting their support folks.

  I see a WordPress.com site under your account here: https://odinwadleigh.wordpress.com/ – but that is not connected in any way to Yahoo hosting. It’s hosted here on WordPress.com and has no upgrades on it.
