Need help! Going crazy!

Hey everybody, I’ve been looking a whole day for a solution to my problem but I can’t figure it out. It seems I am missing something but can’t my grasp on it.
I wanted to try something out so I registered a dot.tk domain and free web hosting here http://freehostingnoads.net/.
I uploaded WordPress to my ftp, installed it and it works.
However when I upload a file to my public_html folder I cannot access it. I get 404 error. Testfile:
http://free-legal-ebooks.tk/test.docx
It’s not Permissions issues.
Tried with different free hosting still same issue.
Could somebody please undo my ignorance? -
We provide support only for blogs being hosted WordPress.COM and not for WordPress.ORG software installs. You are posting to the wrong support forum.
WordPress.com and WordPress.org are completely separate and different http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.ORG bloggers.
