Need help hiding tabs!
-
You will notice 6 tabs on the top; Home, Video Work, Screen Shots, Photography, Resume and Artist Statement.
Home, Artist Statement and my name are all linked to Artist Statement, which is fine that is how I set it up, but is it possible to have the home be linked to the Artist Statement page and hide the Artist Statement tab? (I have figured out that it is impossible to hide the Home tab, and I don’t want my Artist Statement to look like a post. I did purchase the CSS upgrade but all the codes I have entered have not worked)
In Theme Options I can choose to hide tabs, but when I entered tab 6, hit the save button and go to the website it does not affect anything.
I really appreciate any help…

You can actually create a custom menu and then NOT include the standard home page if you wish.
What “page” do you want as your main landing page for the site?

That is what I originally wanted to do but I gave up. Do you know what code I would enter? Thanks for your quick response.

The most common reason for hiding a page from the navigation menu is when you’ve setup a static front page. http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/hide-pages/

The Artist Statement page is already my static home page. I want to either hide the Home tab or hide the Artist Statement tab so that there are not 3 options in the header to go to the same page. Does this make sense? Is it possible to do this with the Monochrome theme?

Thank you both, I have decided to change to the Paperpunch theme as it is set up better for me. I appreciate your time.
