Need help in consolidating active blog to purchased domain name location

Hello, this is my second attempt to reach someone to help me with this. My blog is located at http://themommyilluminati.wordpress.com/
I had purchased the domain mommyilluminati.com, but it is still pointing at an old wordpress template- mommyilluminati.wordpress.com (just “the” distinguishes them). How can I either put my updated blog on “mommyilluminati.com” or at least get that URL to redirect to my real blog? A site direct upgrade would not work.

It sounds like you purchased the domain mapping for that blog. You’ll need to purchase the mapping for your new blog instead and map that name to it. I will flag this for staff, as they MIGHT just let you transfer the upgrade in this case.

http://themommyilluminati.wordpress.com/ does not belong to your mommyilluminati account. Are you sure that’s the blog you want to move the domain to?
The only blog under your mommyilluminati account is mommyilluminati.wordpress.com.
