Need help in transferring API key for subdomain
-
The blog I need help with is not on this list.
I’m transferring my subdomains onto a WP Multisite.
When I entered my API Key, that works for all of my other subdomains I got this message:Error from last API Key attempt:
The owner of that API Key (kkradel) is not on the access list for this blog (4448886). Stats was installed using a different API key. The owner of the original key can add users to the access list, or you can contact WordPress.com support.
I have no idea where or how I registered this one subdomain – as all of the others are listed in my account with my API Key. I do know that the “API key/WebStats/MyOwnSites vs WP.com Sites” thing was very confusing to me for a long time … so maybe I couldn’t access my account at the time I was registering this particular subdomain and registered for a new one, but I have no idea what that account might be.
Anyway, I need to contact support – any one?

Dear Support Bot:
Yes, I know I’m replying to a bot.
The subdomain that I am referring to is not in my drop down list. That is the very reason that I posted.
Thanks.

The WordPress.com Stats plugin is no longer under active development.
Please try Jetpack instead: http://jetpack.me/
It adds a few new features and will fix your current problem.

I just deleted jetpack from my multisite install yesterday because it seemed like a bloated package when all I wanted are stats.
Thanks.

The wordpress.com stats has been replaced by Jetpack. I located this for you:
How do I turn off one of the features provided by Jetpack?
On the feature card explaining the feature you’d like to turn off, click the “Learn More” button. A “Deactivate” button will appear. Click that button and that feature will be completely deactivated. http://jetpack.me/support/Hope this helps.
