Need Help Inserting Photos into text.

I can’t get my photos to go on my post where I want them. I tried to drag, but they just pop back up to the top of the page. Then scanning the forum I found where to find the procedure in the FAQ section. I went there and wrote down what I was supposed to do. Basically- type your post; place cursor where you want the photo to go; upload photo; click it; click send to editor—and the photo is supposed to go where you want. Mine didn’t-it still went to the top of my post. What am I doing wrong? I am completely computer illiterate so detailed help is necessary. I just can’t figure out why with all computers can do it’s so difficult to add a photo. I would think you could just put the cursor where you want the photo, click insert photo and have the photo you choose go exactly where you want it.

nice to meet you!
let’s try to figure out a workaround. your picture is on top, right? so click to select it and press ctrl + x in your keyboard. that should make your picture disappear.
ok, don’t panic! place the cursor where you want the picture, click ctrl + v in your keyboard.
that should land your picture where you want it. now that it is in place, you can now do text wraps, link it to a url etc.

btw, i don’t know how new computers are to you. so i will elaborate something.
ctrl + x means keeping the ctrl key pressed you have to click x.
for ctrl + v, keep the ctrl key pressed and then click v. -
Once the image is in the post, use the Visual Editor to move it around. That means, click on the image, click on the Image link (the tree icon) and change the alignment using their options in the pop-up box.
