Need help installing a purchased theme outside of wordpress

  Hi am am pretty new to wordpress and am trying to upload a theme to my wordpress that I bought on Theme Forest.com. I bought and dowloaded the theme and then had to compress it to a .zip so I could install it.

  But after I tried to upload it, it said “The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet.”

  Anyone have any suggestions?

  You can’t install external themes on a WP.com blog. Those are for WordPress.ORG blogs only. I suggest you ask for a refund.
