Need help logging into old account (not this one)

  Hi!

  I created an old wordpress.com blog in 2009. I only posted three times and stopped. I want to delete it but can’t figure out how to log in. I’m not sure what email address I would have used back then. I’ve tried everything I can remember and nothing is working.

  I tried using the Account Recovery option, but it won’t let me as I don’t have any of the verification information (transaction ID, activation URL, or two-factor authentification codes).

  In the process of trying to find my log-in information, I found that I have several wordpress.com logins:
  
  @wesley2300
  
  @wesleywiley
  
  @wesleywiley604

  I can log into all of these but they are apparently not associated with the log-in for http://www.destroyedbyduplicity.wordpress.com.

  Are you able to help? I’m simply wanting to delete the blog. It’s only 3 posts from 11 years ago. Thank you so much!

  Hi @wesley2300, we can’t delete a site without some proof of ownership. But we can send an email to the correct address. If you’ll check all of your email addresses you’ll likely find it.

  Otherwise, you can try emailing passwordhelp@wordpress.com, but again you’ll need to be able to provide some proof that you own the account. Thanks!

  Is it possible to find out what the username or associated email address is for http://www.destroyedbyduplicity.wordpress.com?

  Is it wesleypresley?
  or
  (email visible only to moderators and staff)
  (email visible only to moderators and staff)

  The blog was from 2009, I’m wanting to delete it but can’t find any of the log-in information. Thanks!!

  None of the above, sorry! I can’t reveal the username or password, but we did send a password reset link to the correct address. Can you check all addresses?

  The only other emails I can think of are an old hotmail account that I can’t log into ((email visible only to moderators and staff)). Is that it?

  That is also not the correct email address.

  Do you have access to any others that you might be forgetting, perhaps under a different email service?

  Hi Macmanx!

  I used to have (email visible only to moderators and staff), but I definitely don’t have access to that anymore. I can’t think of any other email addresses I would have had back then.
  I don’t think I ever had (email visible only to moderators and staff).

  Is there any other information you can use to access the account? Mailing address, social security number, birthdate?

  Maybe (email visible only to moderators and staff)? I’m just guessing at this point. 11 years is a long time ago.

  Hi Wesley,

  I’m afraid that if you don’t see that password reset email at any of the email addresses you own, and you don’t have other verification info we can use to confirm your ownership, we won’t be able to give you access to the account.
